Operations Lead (Finance)

OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER

LOCATION: HOUSTON, TX

DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS

REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

DUTIES:

  • Provide assistance in training and coaching all Route personnel.
  • Take the lead in assuring that the proper classroom and O.J.T. /L.T.C. training is being completed. Conduct classroom training sessions and O.J.T. sessions for trainees. Properly documenting training actions.
  • Assist in providing feedback and information for performance evaluations of employees.
  • Promote awareness of LOOMIS-DISTRICT Mission Statement
  • Conduct route surveillances and properly document route surveillances as required by branch management and company policy.
  • Conduct, and properly document Route audits as required by branch management and company policy for the purpose of investigations.
  • Assist in maintaining / improving Branch's Compliance Rating.
  • Predict and/or evaluate route productivity to maximize efficiency and pricing structure.
  • Professional and constant communication with customers.
  • Monitor employee vacation schedules and hours.
  • Assist with scheduling / routing on a daily basis.
  • Oversight and coordination of route, and dispatch functions.
  • Assist in the awareness of Safety of employees, vehicles and facilities through training and monitoring of policies and procedures.
  • Completion of any and all additional responsibilities that are assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Management Team Members on an "as needed" basis.
  • Have basic knowledge of transit vault, coin vault and CMS

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of supervisory principles & practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, vendors and customers.
  • Ability to train and schedule the work of employees.
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements per the state to which you are applying is required
