Data & Analytics Associate Product Manager, North America (Finance)



Job Description:

The Data & Analytics Associate Product Manager, North America will manage Data and Analytics roadmap delivery for the Value Chain Operations (VCO: Manufacturing, Fulfillment, and Procurement) solution portfolio and the Finance solution portfolio in the North America region. Starting with key business problems and/or future capability needs, this role will interface with market, regional, and global stakeholders, as well as functional experts, to build and deploy analytics products that create business value and advance the Royal Canin digital agenda.

What are we looking for?

  • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Fulfillment, Procurement , or Finance operations or product management
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering , Finance , Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • U nderstanding of product management principles; i.e. Agile and Lean methodologies, product lifecycle s, backlog management.
  • Proven r ecord of facilitating teams to identify problems to solve, ideat e solutions , and bringing possibilities to life
  • Strength in business-to-science translation , with experience growing partner ships between business and technology teams
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel , Amplitude), and backlog management software ( e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, Asana)
  • Analytics foundation - knowledgeable in both operations resea rch and the data science domain
  • Highly Preferred: Practical experience in a factory environment, in logistics and inventory management, or in financial planning & analysis
  • Preferred: Professional certification in product management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, or similar)
  • Experience in delivery management of analytical products, or awareness of the drivers of complexity within delivery
  • Fluent in English

  • Preferred: Ability to travel up to 25%

This role requires a balance of:

  • Strategic inquiry to identify the underlying needs of VCO and Finance stakeholders and influence the organization to embrace new methods and technologies .

  • Technical curiosity to identify and apply art-of-the-possible with data, analytics and AI for VCO and Finance . This role must focus on "problems not tools" in an unbiased way , helping to determ ine when to evolve a Product 's capabilities versus driv ing scaling as-is .

  • Relationship building to partner effectively with customers and experts in Manufacturing, Fulfillment, and Procurement , and Finance , with other D&A and Digital Technology members, and with end users to ensure products deliver on adoption and sustained business value.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Act as a D&A contact for stakeholders across the Royal Canin North America VCO and Finance team s . Help position R oyal Canin D&A as the value driver for delivering the analytical insights required to meet VCO and Finance goals.
  • Convert p roblems into a Product Vision; understand the current process, pain points, user personas, and existing tooling to synthesize Product (s) that address the business need.
  • Work with the Senior Product Manager ( s) to manage the roadmap of highest-impact analytical product areas .
  • Help quality control all D&A use cases within VCO and Finance to ensure they create tangible value whilst aligning to the R oyal Canin global , regional, and local strategies.
  • Manage a backlog of Epics that iteratively addresses the problem using the A gile framework , prioritizing them into Releases (either individually or as part of a team).
  • P artner with the Delivery & Data functions within D&A to scope and advocate for the resou rc es , technologies, and data assets required to deliver each release . Ensure this is aligned to stakeholder and regional priorities .
  • Coordinate the activities of a squad of technical resources (associate & 3 rd party) who will b uild and deploy Product releases.
  • Continually e valuate solution's ability to solve the problem through adoption and other value creation indicators

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
