ABOUT THE ROLE:

VLSI Integrated Circuit Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design and development of microchips. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into efficient and high-performance integrated circuits. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure the successful development and optimization of ASIC design projects.

You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Plymouth, Minnesota location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge integrated circuits that power innovative solutions in various industries. You will play a pivotal role in driving the design and implementation of these circuits, contributing to shaping the future of technology.

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,200/yr - $90,200/yr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Location: Plymouth, MNAs a VLSI Integrated Circuit Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will support the development and manufacturing of semiconductor devices, working on design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting with cross-functional teams. You will report directly to our Senior Engineer Manager, and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between December 2024 and June 2025 and be available to begin full-time work between January 2025 - August 2025
  • Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the start date
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

  • Familiarity with Synopsys tools and methodologies

  • Strong focus on Semiconductors, Microelectronics, VLSI and related courses
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C+, TCL, Verilog, or PERL

  • Be a Digital Designer of high-performance low-power memory chips, ASICs, FPGA
  • Design and implement ASIC design projects using RTL to GDSII flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into efficient integrated circuits
  • Utilize digital design principles and methodologies in the development of ASIC
  • Apply the digital design flow for efficient and accurate implementation
  • Utilize programming languages such as C, C+, TCL, or PERL for design and verification tasks
