Process Engineer (Finance)
Drive efficiency, quality, and innovation. As a Process Engineer at MacLean-Fogg, you'll be responsible for analyzing, improving, and supporting key manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product reliability. You'll work hands-on with equipment, lead troubleshooting efforts, and collaborate across teams to implement engineering-based solutions that reduce waste, improve quality, and increase output.

- Position Type: Full-Time/Salary (Exempt)
- Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000/year (based on skills and experience)
- Work Location: Onsite - Chesterfield, MI
- Evaluate current equipment and processes; recommend and implement improvements to boost quality, throughput, and efficiency
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements to reduce waste and improve performance
- Lead troubleshooting and hands-on support to repair, adjust, or calibrate equipment and minimize downtime
- Analyze process data, document findings, and recommend solutions to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency
- Develop and deliver training on equipment use, procedures, and best practices to production staff
- Apply 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to support projects and drive improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes
- Excellent analytical and root cause problem-solving skills
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow and create technical documentation
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Required to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending and stooping required.
- Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments.
